Designer Watches for Less
It is common knowledge that original designer watches cost so much that it would be ridiculous to actually buy them, unless perhaps one is a celebrity or is extremely rich. This is why doublets are available – to close that gap between those gorgeous branded watches and the general public who wish to own them, but cannot afford to buy the real thing.
True, original branded watches are expensive because one pays for its name and the prestige that goes with it. This is also why the designs of these watches are made exclusively for a specific brand – to identify a watch as being under it. However, in reality, these designs may be reproduced and sold for a much lower price.
